Our community supports EMS!

On November 7th, 2012 a 1% sales tax increase was passed to support EMS operations. This sales tax increase will allow us to provide around the clock ALS coverage for our community and guests to our county. We are also increasing volunteer stipends to better compensate our hard working volunteers that are the heart of our organization. Thank you Silverton for you support!

Want to better serve your community? BE AN EMT!

Silverton Ambulance is very proud to announce that we are hosting another EMT Basic course in January 2013! We will be offering scholarships to motivated and dedicated prospective EMTs. Please refer to our Education Page for more information regarding the course.  Feel free to contact us directly with any questions or interest in becoming an EMT-Basic.

Expect an increase in ALS coverage in Silverton

Chelsea Gardner has been accepted to the HealthONE Paramedic program in Denver, Co. We also received grant funding to help support the high tuition costs of the course.

Clark Damron and Kyle Mesich are pursuing an bridge program for EMT Intermediates that will allow them to obtain a Paramedic level of certification by the end of the summer.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF OUR HARD WORKING EMTS! KEEP EXCELLING IN WHAT YOU LOVE!
